❓ How to use ShopScout

Everything on ShopScout is free. Short videos and images show you how to find items, report finds and set alerts so no good deal slips past you.

The videos and images show the German site. Buttons and fields are in the same place in your language.

Browse the market Market →

The market lists every item players have just seen in private shops, with awakening, price, seller and location. You do not need an account for this.

  1. Type the item name into Search at the top. Typos are no problem: angl wand still finds the Angel Wand.
  2. Narrow the list down with Server, Class, Grade and Level.
  3. Under Awakenings you set the minimum stats the item should have, for example STR from 15 up. The buttons under Quick picks apply common combinations in one click.
  4. Tick bargains only to see just the offers well below the usual price.

Spotting a bargain

Below the price you see how the offer compares to the market. Green means cheaper than usual.

A find in the market with its price and the gap to the market price
This Angel Wand costs 39 M. The usual price is around 55 M right now, so -32 % below market.

Where does the usual price come from?

  • It is the median price of all reports from the last 7 days for the same item on the same server.
  • We take the median, not the average. That way a typo like 5 B instead of 5 M does not distort the value.
  • If there are still too few reports on your server, all servers are counted together.
  • An offer counts as a bargain from 15 % below the usual price.

Still there or gone?

There are three buttons next to every find. They keep the market up to date even if you never report anything yourself.

  • ✓ Still there: you visited the shop and the item is still in it. The find then stays in the market for another 7 days.
  • ✗ Gone: the item is sold or the shop is closed. After 5 gone reports the find disappears from the market. The price is kept for the statistics.
  • Not right: the stats or the price are wrong or made up. A moderator will check it.

Without a fresh confirmation a find drops out of the market on its own after 7 days.

Report a find Submit →

Spotted something good in a shop? Report it and everyone can see it. Every report earns you achievements in your account.

  1. Take a screenshot of the item tooltip in game and drag it into the Drag your screenshot here box. Ctrl+V works straight from the clipboard too. The site reads out the name, awakening and price by itself.
  2. Check the fields or fill them in yourself: pick the Item from the list, enter Awakenings such as INT +14, DCT +6%, then the Price (39M is enough) and the Seller.
  3. Choose Server, Channel and in-game location.
  4. Click on the map where the shop stands. You can also paste the waypoint from the game chat, for example [Location:1,3828,4425].
  5. Click Report find.

The reporting page
At the top you choose what you are reporting: a single find, someone else's whole shop item by item, or your own shop.

Your find is most valuable to others with a screenshot and a waypoint. But you may report any item, even without an awakening.

Setting a price alert Price alerts →

Looking for a particular item? Set an alert and ShopScout will let you know as soon as someone reports it cheaply enough. You need an account for this.

  3. Pick a server or leave All servers as it is.
  4. Click Set alert. You can have up to 20 alerts at a time.

The new alert form

Hits land in your Messages on the site. If you signed in with Discord, you also get them as a direct message.

Alerts to a Discord channel

You can also have your hits sent to a Discord channel, for example your guild's server. Then the whole guild sees the bargains.

  1. In Discord: right-click the channel, then Edit Channel → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook.
  2. Click Copy Webhook URL there.
  3. Paste the link into ShopScout at the bottom of Price alerts. It starts with https://discord.com/api/webhooks/.
  4. Click Save and test. A test message appears in your channel straight away.
The Discord webhook box
To switch it off, clear the field and save.

You need the permission to manage webhooks on that Discord server. If you do not have it, ask your guild leader.
