2. What data we process

When you visit the site: The server processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, page requested, browser). This is needed to deliver the site and to protect it against abuse (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We do not create profiles from it and do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Account: When you register, we store your name, your password (only as a secure hash, never in plain text), your reports, confirmations and messages and - if you enter it - your birthday (day and month) for the birthday bonus. The legal basis is the performance of the user agreement (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

Login with Discord: If you log in via Discord, we only receive your Discord ID, your display name and your profile picture from Discord (scope "identify"). We do not receive your email address or your servers.

Leaderboard: There is no longer a public leaderboard. Your numbers (reports, achievements) are visible only to you, in your own account.

Reports: Reported shops contain item data, price, server, channel, location and the seller's in-game name. These are player names, not real names. Sellers who do not want to appear can write to us - we put the name on an opt-out list. It then disappears from every existing report at once, and we no longer accept new reports using that name.

Independently of that, we only show a seller name for a limited time. After that, the item and the price remain as market data and the name is removed - a shop does not stay in the same spot forever anyway.

Screenshots: Proof images are stored on our own server and belong to the respective report. Text recognition still runs entirely in your browser - only the image itself is uploaded, no intermediate results. We delete older proof images together with the report.

3. Cookies

We only set one technically necessary session cookie so that you stay logged in (up to 30 days) and your language setting is kept. No consent is required for this (§ 25 (2) TDDDG). There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

4. Third-party content

When you open the site, your browser loads content directly from these providers, who learn your IP address in the process:

• Flyff Universe API (api.flyff.com, Gala Lab Corp.) - item images and maps.
• Proof images come from us, not from a third-party image service.

5. Hosting

The site is operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, in a data center in Germany. The provider processes the data on our behalf; a data processing agreement is in place.

We deliver fonts and text recognition from our own server. There are no connections to Google Fonts, jsDelivr or tessdata.projectnaptha.com.

6. How long we store data

We store account data until you have your account deleted. Reports lose their relevance after some time and are no longer shown. Server logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15-21 GDPR). Just write to info@shop-scout.de. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
